What is Glorious Gifts?

Glorious Gifts is an alternative way of shopping for Christmas gifts while supporting the outreach ministries of Reveille United Methodist Church. Each of our outreach ministries has created a shopping list of needed items you can “buy.” Instead of receiving the item, you will receive one card (if that option is selected) for each item, listing the item purchased, and explaining the ministry. You may give the card to a friend or family member as a gift. You also may make a general donation without specifying an item. All money donated through Glorious Gifts will be used to fund the specific ministry to which it was donated.

ORDER ONLINE

• Visit our online ordering page to select the items you wish to “buy” and complete your transaction. Please note, on the ordering page, the Glorious Gifts ordering section is below the Contributions section.
• On the second page of your online transaction, indicate if you wish to receive cards for your items purchased. Order by December 19 to receive cards by Christmas Eve. You will be notified by email when your cards are available for pickup.
• Cards must be picked up at the church office, 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday, or Sunday. On Sundays, cards from orders will be available in the welcome center.
• On Christmas Eve, cards will be in the welcome center.
• Reveille’s office will be closed December 25-January 1 and cards will not be available for pick up during this time.

MAILED ORDERS

• If you wish to complete your transaction by mail, you can print off the 2023 brochure, make your selections, and enclose a check made payable to Reveille UMC.
• Please mail your form and payment to Reveille UMC, Attn: Glorious Gifts, 4200 Cary St. Rd., Richmond, VA 23221, or drop off at the church office, 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
• You will be notified by email when your cards are available for pickup. Cards will be available in the church office, 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday, and in the welcome center Sunday mornings. Please note office closing dates below.

DEADLINES & OFFICE CLOSINGS

• The deadline to place an order and receive cards by Christmas Eve is December 19. If you wish to pick up cards on December 24, they will be available in the welcome center during worship services.
• If you do not need cards, the deadline to place your order is December 31.
• The church office is closed from December 25 to January 1. Cards will not be available for pickup on these dates.

All contributions are tax-deductible. Keep your receipt as a record of donation.
