With God's grace, the youth ministry at Reveille seeks to foster an empowering ministry in which youth are inspired to grow in Christ and become disciples in the church, the community, and the world.

Youth ministry at Reveille offers many opportunities for middle and high school teens (grades 6-12) to minister to and with each other and adults in the Reveille community.

Worship Opportunities

Worship is the most significant piece of our life together at Reveille Church. It is important to teach youth how to participate and lead in worship. Youth have opportunities to help lead worship at Reveille in the following areas:
  • Acolytes serve at both the 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship services. Their responsibilities include lighting and extinguishing the altar candles and assisting clergy with Holy Communion and other special acts of worship. The 11:00 a.m. acolytes are youth in sixth through twelfth grades. Training is offered each fall.
  • Crucifers serve at the 11:00 am worship service by carrying the processional cross for the processional and recessional. Crucifers also assist clergy with Holy Communion and baptism. Training is offered each fall.
  • Youth Lay Readers participate in reading scripture during worship at 8:30, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. Training is provided as needed.
