During the fall months, children in first grade participate in Children in Worship classes from 9:30 am-12:00 noon (during Sunday school and 11:00 worship).  The classes are designed to help children understand and participate fully in worship.  The first class is held the Sunday following Labor Day.  Parents participate in several classes.  On the Sunday before Thanksgiving, each child completing the class receives a United Methodist hymnal during the 11:00 worship service.
