Reveille's Seasonal and Special Programs for Children
Opportunities to teach children about Christian life and the church arise through the church calendar.  These are events or classes that happen at certain times of the year.

Children's Stewardship Program
Children join the rest of Reveille's members in considering what it means to care for the gifts God has given us.  The Stewardship Committee provides Sunday school lessons for elementary children.  On Consecration Sunday in early November, children are invited to submit their own pledge cards to the church.  They then receive offering envelopes in order to fulfill their pledge and to participate in the ministry of giving throughout the year.

Spontaneous Christmas Pageant
Families with preschoolers are invited to this Christmas Eve program where the children take part in telling the Christmas story.  For more information, see the Seasonal Services page under Worship.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Reveille's beautiful grounds provide the perfect place for preschoolers and early elementary children to hunt eggs on the Saturday morning before Palm Sunday.  Children bring their own baskets and exchange the eggs they collect for Easter treats.  Parents accompany their children for the morning of planned activities.

Palm Sunday Processional
Palm Sunday worship begins with lively expectation as children lead the processional for morning worship.

Vacation Bible School and Day Camp
Vacation Bible School (VBS) and Day Camp are held each summer for children from three years old through rising fifth graders.  Held the last week of July, VBS for three year olds through rising second graders meets from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon.  Rising third through fifth graders participate in Day Camp, with an emphasis on outreach and missions, from 9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
