Reveille's Program Staff
Carol Tignor Uzzle
Minister for Discipleship
Carol came to Reveille in 1999, returning to the church of her childhood. She holds degrees from Emory and Henry College and Duke Divinity School. Carol, an ordained deacon in the United Methodist Church, has served churches as a Christian educator in the Holston, North Carolina and Virginia Conferences. Carol and her husband, Russ, have two sons, Scott and Jonathan. She enjoys reading children’s books of all types and collecting nativity sets. Her primary staff responsibilities are over-seeing the congregation’s educational programs for all ages, working with children’s ministries, and coordinating the Reveille Window.
 
Stephen A. Coleman
Minister for Congregational Care
Stephen came to Reveille in September 2001. A Richmond native, Stephen holds degrees from Hampden-Sydney College and Union Theological Seminary-Presbyterian School of Christian Education. Stephen enjoys golf, movies, board and card games. He and his wife, Beth, have one son, Wyn. His primary staff responsibilities are pastoral care coordination, oversight of lay caregivers, older adult ministry, and outreach ministries.
 
Dwayne H. Stinson
Director of Youth Ministries
Dwayne arrived at Reveille in fall of 2006. He received a B.A. in religion, economics, and French from Hampden-Sydney College and a M.Div. from Duke Divinity School. Dwayne served as Farmville District Youth Coordinator for six years and as Director of Youth Ministries at Mount Olivet UMC in Arlington for three and a half years, as well as having taught high school French for three years. He enjoys reading, writing, and Honduran art. His primary staff responsibilities involve coordinating ministries for teens and pre-teens in grades six through twelve.
 
Cathy Armistead
Director of Music
Cathy joined the staff of Reveille in January 2002.  She holds a bachelor's degree in music education from Radford College and a master's in organ performance from VCU.  Cathy, a full-time church musician for 20 years, has served United Methodist churches in the Richmond area: Duncan Memorial in Ashland, Centenary and Bon Air in Richmond, and Mt. Pisgah in Midlothian. Cathy enjoys books, movies, and aerobics classes.  She and Keith have two children, Carrie and Thomas.  Cathy's duties include directing music ministries, serving as organist for the traditional worship services, and coordinating volunteer choir directors.
 
Joy Cotzias
The Point Worship and Music Leader
Joy’s background includes a bachelor of fine arts degree in music theatre from Syracuse University, and several years in New York City producing radio and television commercials. In 2003, she received her master’s degree in Christian education from Union Theological Seminary-Presbyterian School of Christian Education, where she continues to study toward her master’s in theology. Joy lives in Richmond with her two daughters.
